DBR with Sudden Sound (DBR S2): the neurophenomenology of shock

The ‘Sudden Sound’ technique for DBR (S2 DBR) was developed by Chris Vavro and her team in 2025 at Dr. Frank Corrigan’s request and with his support.
This course introduces Level 3 trained clinicians to utilizing a new type of Activating Stimulus that is not overtly connected to the trauma history.
Clinicians attending must have completed Level 3 DBR training and be using DBR professionally and for personal development.
This course will provide a combination of didactic, demonstration and practicum so that clinicians can learn this technique and practice it in practicums for personal clearing of shock responses.
